Replacement & Return Policy for Jewelry



Policy valid on all jewelry orders placed on or after October 1 2020.


All Ocean Wares jewelry products purchased from after October 1st 2020 are covered by our Lifetime Warranty. (this does not include items purchased on ETSY, Facebook, or elsewhere.

Any purchased jewelry item that arrives or becomes damaged within the first 30 days from purchase date will be replaced once at absolutely no cost and with no hassle for the item

Any purchased jewelry item that arrives or becomes damaged from 30 days to a year from purchase date will be replaced once, but does not include the return shipping cost.

Any purchased item that becomes damaged after the first year (365 days) from the date of purchase will be replaced but may be assessed a payment of a flat-rate $10 fee as well as all shipping costs. The fee will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. 

In most cases, the easiest way to start the process is by sending us an email with a picture as well as date purchased (if date is unknown, simple include the name and address the order was shipped to so it can be looked up) and you will be issued a return authorization number.

Please send the email to with  “warranty” in subject line. This will allow us to confirm the damage and start the warranty process for you. 

Please note, all items that arrive damaged, or become damaged within the first 30 days after the purchase date we will cover the cost to return,  if a return is required for an item after the first 30 days, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping to us.

Once your item is returned and replacement has been shipped you will be notified by email.

The Lifetime Warranty applies to the availability of replacements only, not return/refund eligibility. In some cases, if an item is not available, the item has been replaced with a new model, or any pieces are not available, you will be given credit to use towards another item in our shop equal to the price you paid for the item.

Some Ocean Wares products are not returnable or refundable, they include, but are not limited to the following

  • all earrings,
  • any personalized item,
  • any product made to order (this information can be found on the listing)
  • any product marked as final sale
  • any gift cards
  • any original shipping charges
  • Items ordered as part of a monthly delivery subscription package, such as our Bracelet of the Month Club subscription, are final sale, and not returnable or refundable. Damaged items received as part of a monthly subscription package will be replaced as part of our standard warranty but may not be refunded. 



To arrange a return and receive a Return Authorization Number which
will streamline and expedite the return process and refund turnaround
time, please contact our customer care team by sending an email to  This will open a customer support ticket and give your request a reference ID number that may be used to track the progress of your return.

Please note that returning an order without receiving a Return Authorization Number and scheduling the return with our customer care team will lead to no refund or replacement of any kind, as the team will not be able to look up your approved return to send out your replacement

Pre-Paid Return Shipping Labels (United States / Canada):

If your order is eligible for paid return, A pre-paid return shipping label is available to you if your order was delivered to an address in the United States or Canada. (only items eligible for this are brand new items that arrive damaged, or become damaged within the first 30 days from purchase date)

Please contact customer support by emailing to request more information on a pre-paid return label. 

Please note that printing a physical copy of the pre-paid return label is a prerequisite to being able to use this pre-paid service. Ocean wares cannot ship a pre-printed or pre-paid return shipping label, therefor it is your responsibility to be able to print the label and attach to the package. within the allowable time frame


If a delivery cannot be completed or is refused by the recipient due to the recipient's unwillingness to pay any due international taxes or duty charges on the package, the order will not be refunded, as these costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Ocean wares is not responsible for any additional government taxes,
customs, or duty charges on returned packages, and any such costs are the responsibility of the party initiating the return. The total amount of any such charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

Any and all claims for lost, or mis-delivered packages must be made within thirty days of the shipping date of the package in question.
